1. What this is
CJ Family AI ("the application") is a privately operated, self-hosted AI assistant run by Kinn Coelho Juliao ("the operator") on hardware in his home. It exists for the use of members of his household.
2. Who may use it
Only people to whom the operator has personally given an account. There is no public registration, no paid tier, and no way to request access. If you are not a member of the household, these terms grant you nothing.
3. No fee, no commerce
The application is not sold, licensed, advertised or monetised in any way. No payment is taken from anyone, and no data is sold or shared.
4. Connecting a Google account
Connecting a Google account is optional. If you connect one, you authorise the application to create and edit Google Docs, Sheets and Slides in your Drive on your behalf, and only in response to requests you make. What it does and does not do with that access is set out in full in the Privacy Policy. You may disconnect at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
5. Acceptable use
Use it for ordinary household purposes. Do not use it to break the law, to harm anyone, or to attempt to access another household member's conversations or files.
6. AI output is not authoritative
The application is powered by language models, which produce confident text that is sometimes wrong. Do not rely on its output for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions. Check anything that matters. Schoolwork produced with its help should follow whatever rules the school sets.
7. Availability
This runs on one computer in a house. It will be unavailable during power cuts, network outages, upgrades, and whenever the operator is doing something else. No uptime is promised.
8. No warranty
The application is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. The operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Data loss
Conversation history is backed up on a best-effort basis. Treat anything you want to keep permanently as something to save elsewhere. Documents created in your Google Drive are yours and are not affected by anything happening to this application.
10. Changes and termination
The operator may change these terms, change how the application works, or shut it down entirely at any time. Revised terms appear on this page with a new date above.
