Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
CJ Family AI is a private application operated by Kinn Coelho Juliao for the members of his household. This policy describes, specifically, how it accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data.
Google data we access, and why
The application requests the following OAuth scopes. It requests no others.
| Scope | What it permits | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| drive.file | Access only to files this application itself creates or that you explicitly open with it. It does not grant access to the rest of your Drive. | To place a newly created document in your Drive and to update it if you ask for changes. |
| documents | Create and edit Google Docs. | To produce a document when you ask for one. |
| spreadsheets | Create and edit Google Sheets. | To produce a spreadsheet when you ask for one. |
| presentations | Create and edit Google Slides. | To produce a slide deck when you ask for one. |
| gmail.readonly | Read the messages in your mailbox. It does not permit deleting, sending, or modifying anything. | So you can ask questions about your own email — "what did the school send about the trip?" |
| gmail.send | Send email as you. It does not grant the ability to read, search or list your mailbox. | To send a document or message on your behalf when you explicitly ask. |
| calendar.events | View and manage events on your calendars. | To add, move or read an appointment when you ask. |
What this application never does
- It does not read, index or search the existing contents of your Google Drive.
- It does not delete your email, alter labels, or modify your mailbox in any way. Read access is read-only.
- It does not access Google Contacts, Google Photos, or any Google service beyond those listed above.
- It does not transfer Google user data to any third party.
- It does not sell Google user data, or use it for advertising.
- It does not use Google user data to train any machine learning model.
- It does not use Google user data for any purpose other than carrying out the request you typed.
How the data is used
Google user data is used solely to fulfil an explicit request made by the signed-in household member during a conversation — for example, creating a spreadsheet they asked for. The content of the document is generated on our own hardware and written to that person's Drive. No processing happens on anyone else's servers.
What is stored, and where
- OAuth tokens. An access token and refresh token for each household member who chooses to connect a Google account. These are stored on a single computer in our home, in a container volume readable only by the operating system account that runs the application. They are never transmitted anywhere else.
- Document contents. Not retained. The generated content is written to your Drive and exists in the conversation transcript, which is also stored only on that same machine.
- Conversation history. Stored locally so you can return to earlier chats. Visible only to the account that created it.
Nothing is stored on any cloud service, hosting provider, or computer outside our home.
Sharing
Google user data is not shared with anyone. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no error-reporting service, no advertising network, and no third-party processors. The application has no outbound connections other than to Google's own APIs and to the web-search engine used for citations.
Limited Use disclosure
CJ Family AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
You can disconnect your Google account at any time, from within the application or from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access immediately invalidates the stored tokens; we delete our copy at the same time. Documents already created in your Drive belong to you and are unaffected — delete them as you would any other file.
To have your conversation history removed, ask the operator (contact below) and it will be deleted from the machine.
Who can use this application
Only members of the operator's household, on accounts created by the operator. There is no public registration. If you have reached this page without being one of those people, there is nothing here to sign up for.
Children
Two of the users are the operator's own children, using the application under parental supervision on family hardware. No data about them is collected for any purpose beyond operating the assistant, and none of it leaves the home.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date above. Material changes affecting Google data handling will be communicated to household members directly.
